Awkwafina

Awkwafina, an American singer and actress started by releasing witty raps which addressed sexuality and racial identification. After which she moved to Hollywood her music, she came out with an album of rap songs. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her first musical exposure. She was a trumpeter. The classical, jazz, and hip-hop training began as she was in her teens. In her studies, she studied journalism as well as women's studies in college even studying Mandarin in Beijing for a time. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until she graduated. After gaining viral fame on the Internet, her single My Vag was a reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually appeared on her first album Yellow Ranger. Other viral hits included the queef, a body positive track and the equally winking NYC Bitche$ hometown tour. This track was also used as part of Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was published in the year 2015. The singer decided to pursue acting career following her completion of two projects, as an author and musician. Along with the early TV shows such as Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in films like Neighbors in Storks. In 2018, she scored a number of major roles like Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. Then in June she launched the EP in Fina We Trust.
