The film also won two awards in addition, it was awarded the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) and the Cinema Prize. Additionally, she was the child character in Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. In 2008, Marinca played Yasim in the BBC's five episode The Last Enemy. Marinca played the role of Yasim Anwar as part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven, in addition to in the Romanian Drama Boogie. She later was the role of Irma's German grandmother in Fury, which was released in the year 2014.
