Singer and actress and song writer Jana Kramer rose to fame in the world of television when she joined the team in One Tree Hill as Alex during its last three seasons. The show showcased her first release as a country artist which helped her debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album released in 2015, made it to the Top Ten. As she ended the decade, she made appearances at Dancing with the Stars. The year was 2021 and the single Doubting Voices made its debut. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native, who grew up in the country genre. Although she pursued an acting and recording career but her first screen appearance came in the independent horror movie Dead/Undead (2002) when she was still in high school. She appeared in guest spots in All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights for the second season of the series 2007-2008. Kramer appeared in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 from 2008 to 2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 prior to joining the ensemble of the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in the year 2009, where she continued to appear until the series' final season in 2012. Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer signed a recording contract to Elektra Records and debuted the contemporary love song for country music I Won't Give up on an episode in 2011 on One Tree Hill. This track appeared later on Jana Kramer's debut full-length in the middle of 2012. It landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The singer focused her attention on her singing career without quitting acting, she acted in movies that appealed her fans including Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. In October of 2015, Kramer released Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) as well as Steven Tyler's duet with Aerosmith contributed to the album's ability to achieve even greater success and landed at the third place at the top of the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her two month stint on 23rd episode of Dancing with the Stars ended in a fourth-place finish. It was also the year when she scored a contemporary-adult hit, with Feels like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
