Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen (American television journalist) is currently working with CNBC. She serves as co-anchor for CNBC's shows 'Squawk on the Street as well as 'Closing bell'. She is an Ohio native and was not at all interested in markets or currencies while in college. While studying at New York University she interned for ForexTV.com. This is where she garnered her first experience working in business news. In the following years, she completed an advanced degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. Then, she took on an eight-month internship at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. After she returned to US and began to work for Bloomberg's offices in New York. She became a TV anchor later. CNBC has hired her as a reporter in December 2013. Eisen has been anchor of 'Worldwide Exchange and Power Lunch', before landing the role on "Closing Bell' in the year. Eisen is co-anchoring "Squawk on the Street" since the year 2014. She is among the most well-known journalist in business today. Since joining CNBC, her primary concentration has been on global consumer news.
